Longfield Farm is thrilled to introduce ‘At The Table’, a series of collaborative events aimed at bringing together our community to learn, share and celebrate the beauty, flavour and joy of a seasonal table. In its first year, this series will feature four events - The Easter Table, The Summer Table, The Harvest Table and The Holiday Table.
Kicking things off with The Easter Table, farmer/florist Elisa Bulgrin of Longfield Farm will be joined by wine and spirits expert Justin Miller of Craftbottlz and chef and food stylist Joanna Keohane of The Family Food Kitchen.
Over the course of an evening together, we will explore all facets of a well enjoyed seasonal table To begin, Justin Miller will demo how to make New Canaan's favourite Spring cocktail and guide us through a selection of wines from the Northeast. We will enjoy a delicious tasting prepared by Jo who will share her expertise and walk us through impressive but attainable recipes to elevate the at-home Easter menu.
Elisa will round out the evening with a hands-on seasonal floral tablescape demonstration showcasing locally grown flowers, as the group prepares centerpieces to feature at their own Easter celebration.
